Cairo, Egypt, Sept 20, 2020 — Segmatek Board of Directors announces the appointment of Mr. Khaled Khorshid as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) starting October 1, 2020.

About Khaled Khorshid:
A 25-year veteran of high-tech and telecom industries who started up numerous greenfield mobile operators, digital providers, and disruptive businesses in highly challenging markets. Khaled successfully transformed the business models of incumbent telcos and tech providers. He started his career in management consulting with EDS and Accenture transforming the businesses of Fortune 500 companies in North America and Europe. Among the roles he held were CEO of Zain Nigeria, CCO of Zain KSA, CIO of Zain Sudan, CEO of Al-Kharafi ICT Group, IT Director of Ooredoo Algeria, and IS Director of Orascom Algeria. His expertise since 2013 focused on planning and implementing impactful Digital Transformation programs in different telcos. He was the Chief Customer Officer and A/CTO of Jawwy from STC, the first digital mobile telecom service provider in MEA region. He holds degrees from the following universities: Master’s in Change from Oxford, UK; MBA from Michigan, USA; and a Bachelor in MIS from Ohio, USA.
